Many of them migrated to the West with the hope of taking over the whole of the continent. They were confident that their country is destined to be a great nation. Human liberty, civilization and a stable political system were the ruling powers in the American economy. They have had patriots to defend their homes and liberties because of the democratic equality in their system of government. This nation of progress values equality of rights as a way of assuring happiness to its citizens.
