X = measure of 1st angle
y = measure of 2nd angle
x + y = 180
y = 3(x+25)
Therefore,
x + 3(x+25) = 180
x + 3x +75 = 180
4x = 105
x = 26.25
So the measure of the 1st angle is 26.25 and the 2nd is 153.75
(3x + 2y = 8)X-3
-9x -6y = -18
(2x + 3y =2)X2
-9x -6y = -18
4x + 6y = 4
------------------
-5x + 0 = -14
-5x = -14
x = 14/5
If you wanted to find y
2y = 8 - 3(x)
2y = 8 - 3(14/5)
2y = -0.4
y = -0.2
I know this is a bit confusing, let me know if you need help :) also i hope this answered your question, sorry if it didn't xx
