Carbohydrates are your body's first source to jump start your workouts. Although protein can be used for energy by converting its structure to glucose, its not advisable to rely on it for energy. Proteins provide structure for all organ systems as well as your immune system. However, your body will use protein as an alternative energy source if carbohydrate level is low. Protection food on display can be protected from combination using sneeze guards. Temperature keep hot food hot, 135f (57C) or higher. Keep food cold, 41F (5C) or lower.
