Answer:

b.grew quickly as cities grew rapidly.

Explanation:

The conflict lasted 32 months and Andrew Jackson, who would become founder of the Democratic Party and then president of the nation emerged as a military hero in his campaigns against indigenous allies with the British.

The War of 1812 put an end to the intentions of creating an Indigenous Confederation and an independent indigenous state sponsored by Great Britain.

Although there was invasion of Canadian and US territories by both parties, they were returned with the Treaty of Ghent, signed on December 24, 1814.

The conflict ended with the last colonial ties with Britain, demonstrating the military and economic capacity of the United States in the eyes of Europe.

The later stage was of economic prosperity for the US, and a boost to the westward expansion. The so-called "Era of good feelings" with a reaffirmation of national values.

In 1981, a group of air traffic controllers, employees of the Federal Aviation Administration, went on strike. They wanted to
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Personally I think Reagan did do the right thing by firing the striking workers.

Explanation:

President Reagan was just that, a president, as a president he has an image to uphold and that is one of a fair and lawful official. Although it is unfortunate that the air traffic controllers disagreed with the hours and obligations of their work, they are the ones that chose the job and agreed to those hours. The president was correct in calling the strike a "peril to national safety" as they're some of the only people in the US who can manage 1000's of flights of days and with their absence from work, flights carrying hundreds of passengers did not have the directive they needed to stay safe. Also, federal employees were prohibited by law from striking so of course there is going to be repercussions when they break said law.

ale4655 [162]

Answer: John Steinbeck born 1902 was an American author that also won the Nobel prize for his realistic and imaginative writings.

He wrote lots of books and in one of his books, he described Migrants as dangerous new barbarians. This was during the great depression. What he meant by this text is that, a hungry migrant is hungry. But a migrant whose kids are hungry can be dangerous because this individual can go to any length to feed their kids. This indicates an action or behaviour that benefits another or others at some cost to the performer.
