A triangle is always 180 degrees. We know that one side is 50 degrees and two of our sides are equal so we can be sure that the other side is 50 degrees this gets us to 100 degrees leaving 80 degrees this means x= 80

The system shown is _____.

equivalent
independent
inconsistent
Setler [38]

By definition:

  • If a system has at least one solution, it's said to be consistent.
  • If a system has exactly one solution, it's independent.
  • If a system has infinite solutions, it's dependent
  • If a system has no solutions, it's inconsistent.

Your system has exactly one solution (the two lines represent the two equations, and the point where they meet is the solution of the system), and so it is consistent, and in particular independent.

SOLVE FOR X. HELP ME NOW PLEASE!
Drupady [299]

Answer:

For number 2, its A. For number 1, its C.

Step-by-step explanation:

For both equations, you just set it equal to to each other because alternate interior angles are equivalent.

2) The equation would be

     7x+3=6x+12

   Then solve.

1) The equation would be

     14x-3=95

   Then solve.

I love geometry! If you have questions, just comment.

Find two consecutive integers whose sum is 67.
nignag [31]
Hello,

we suppos the numbers are 1 and 2.

1+2=3

67-3=64
We must thus add 32 to each number

numbers are 1+32=33
and 2+32=34
(we don't need equation to solve that!)

A dashboard warning light is supposed to flash red if a car’s oil pressure is too low. On a certain model, the probability of th
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

0.8462 or 84.62%

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability that the light flashes is given by the probability of it flashing when it should added to the probability of flashing when it should not:

P(F) = P(O)*P(F_O)+P(N)*P(F_N)\\P(F) =0.10*0.99 + (1-0.10)*0.02\\P(F) = 0.117

The probability that the oil pressure is low (driver needs to be concerned) is given by the probability that oil is low and the light flashes divided by the probability that the light flashes.

P(O|F) =\frac{P(O_F)*P(O)}{P(F)} \\P(O|F) =\frac{0.99*0.10}{0.117}\\ P(O|F) =0.8462

When the warning light goes on, there is a 0.8462 probability that the oil pressure is low.
