Explanation:

Kashmir became a bigger issue of both countries after the partition. When Cyril Radcliffe drew line parting two countries India and Pakistan, Kashmir was part of India. Pakistan claimed Kashmir their own because of the majority population were Muslims. After the partition, Pakistan captured land, today we know as POK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) which belonged to India. The region of Kashmir is the reason for the tension between the two nation.
