Since the clinic nurse recorded a 20/50 visual acuity for the 4-year-old child. The recorded result was also attributed to lack of cooperation from the child with the eye examination. The nurse practitioner will recommended to test the child's vision in 1 month's time, and compare the results. It is assumed that by then the child would be calm and cooperating. This would help in arriving at a definite result and enable nurse practitioner make necessary recommendation and prescription - if need be.
