The advantage for US business in 1800 was that the government sold land at a low cost. The federal government had much land for sale at a rate of 1.25 Dollars per acre. Adjustments were made, and by 1854 the land was sold at an average price of 12.5 cents per acre where more than 2 million acres were sold. Lots of the land had been in the market for over 30 years before the reduction of prices by the federal government.

Which development would most likely reduce the standard of living in the
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

A. It becomes more difficult for U.S. citizens to get health care.

Explanation:

If people cannot have access to healthcare, there will be more illnesses/injuries and it will decrease the standard of living. If people start traveling to different states, that won't affect the standard of living in any way. If factories begin producing goods at a faster rate, it will be convenient for people. I don't know what the gold standard is but I'm assuming it's a good thing, so that isn't the answer. The only negative thing is answer choice, so that is the answer.
