It's so easy. Domain is the set made up of the first elements of each ordered pair (x, y).

Look at the second relation {(-5, 5), (0, 5), (5, 5)}. It has three ordered pairs which arw (-5, 5), (0, 5) and (5, 5).

First element of the first ordered pair (-5, 5) is -5. First element of the second ordered pair (0, 5) is 0. First element of the third ordered pair (5, 5) is 5.

So, the set made up of the first elements of the ordered pairs is {-5, 0, 5} and hence it is the domain.

Li Wei has several streams of income, as shown in the table. Some streams are active income and some are passive.
WARRIOR [948]

Based on the streams of income that Li Wei has, we can calculate that he has a total passive income of $3,010.

Passive income refers to income that is made without a person actively involving themselves in the activity generating the income.

In this scenario, the passive income sources are:

 • Stock dividends
 • Business investment interest
 • Royalties from a novel

Total passive income therefore is:

= 530 + 1,080 + 1,400

= $3,010

In conclusion, the total passive income is $3,010.

Under a certain transformation △ABC→△A'B'C' such that AB=A'B'. What are the triangles now?
Flura [38]

The correct answer is C. neither congruent nor similar.

Given that △ABC is transformed to △A'B'C' such that AB = A'B'.

We know that:

For triangles to be similar, all three angles must be same(AAA property) or all three sides must be in same proportion(SSS property) or two sides must be in same proportion and the included angle should be equal(SAS property).

For triangles to be congruent, all the three sides and all the three angles ,ust be exactly same.

Since △ABC and △A'B'C' have only one side equal, they are neither congruent nor similar.
