Answer:

Given : The area of a rectangle is 4y + 10.

To Find: A. Represent the area of the rectangle in factored form.

B. Use the factored form to give one possible set of dimensions for this rectangle.

Solution:

The area of a rectangle = 4y + 10

                                       = 2(2y + 5)

So, the area of the rectangle in factored form is 2(2y + 5)

B) Use the factored form to give one possible set of dimensions for this rectangle.

Area of rectangle = Length \times Breadth

The area of the rectangle in factored form is 2(2y + 5)

Substitute y = 1

The area of the rectangle = 2(2(1) + 5)

                                           = 2\times 7

So, one possible set of dimensions for this rectangle is 2\times 7

I hope I helped! Also, one thing when you adding decimals or multiplying them, pretend the decimal point isn't even there. Then, once you have your answer, you just add the decimal in the middle. Basically just adding like in first grade! Super easy and I hope I helped!
