P(x) = x^2 + 4x
y = x^2 + 4x
use the formula (b/2)^2 to find the new c value
(4/2)^2 = 4
add 4 to both sides
y + 4= x^2 + 4x + 4
y + 4= (x+2)^2

y= (x+2)^2 - 4
