Hypertrophy is the increase in the volume of an organ or tissue due to the enlargement of its component cells.

Hyperplasia is the enlargement of an organ or tissue caused by an increase in the reproduction rate of its cells.

In Hypertrophic Thyroid, thyroid follicles may be lined by cuboidal to columnar epithelium with central follicles tightly packed and smaller than normal.

Hyperplasias may contain individual trapped follicles. The generally accepted criteria for hyperplasia is a focal C-cell cluster less than five average follicular diameters or similarly small-sized clusters of C cells scattered in interfollicular spaces.

Hypertrophic thyroid is enlarged in size, appears to be swollen on inspection. Hyperplastic thyroid appears as a lump in the neck.

Answer:

The correct answer is - 0 m/s.

Explanation:

In this position-time graph or distance-time graph, there are three different part that shows three different velocities one in increasing as it moves from a lower position in relative to time and one is stationary and the third is decreasing.

'Straight lines' on a distance-time graph suggest that the movement of the object is constant. During 'Part B' of the journey the object travels 0m in 3s. It is stationary for 3 seconds so the velocity will be zero as well.

Predict which responses would occur in cells exposed to the a+b signaling molecules
lukranit [14]
Cell responses b and c would both occur when cell exposed to the a+b signaling molecules. The presence of the C signaling molecule will lead to cell response c. Cell response b occurs because the activation of c2 in the C pathway stimulates b1, leading to cell response b. Cell response A remains inactivated because it is inhibited by pathway b activation and its signaling molecule was not present.
