Answer:

2/7

Altogether there're 7 marbles. Let,probability of getting blue and red marbles be 'B' and 'R' respectively.

In 1st pick

Probability of getting red marble is 4/7

So, there's the probability that the ball in 1st pick may be either blue or red.

So,if the marble is red then we've to eliminate that red marble ( cause,question says so)

Then,in 2nd pick

Probability of getting red ball will be 3/6(<em>if</em><em> </em><em>we</em><em> </em><em>eliminate</em><em> </em><em>that</em><em> </em><em>red</em><em> </em><em>ball</em><em> </em><em>then</em><em> </em><em>the</em><em> </em><em>total</em><em> </em><em>number</em><em> </em><em>of</em><em> </em><em>marbles</em><em> </em><em>will</em><em> </em><em>also</em><em> </em><em>be</em><em> </em><em>6</em><em>)</em>

Now,

Probability of getting two red will be

(4/7)×(3/6)

=2/7

<em>It</em><em> </em><em>would</em><em> </em><em>be</em><em> </em><em>more</em><em> </em><em>easier</em><em> </em><em>to</em><em> </em><em>do</em><em> </em><em>by</em><em> </em><em>tree</em><em> </em><em>diagram</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>Since</em><em>,</em><em>I</em><em> </em><em>didn't</em><em> </em><em>find</em><em> </em><em>it</em><em> </em><em>convenient</em><em> </em><em>here</em><em>,</em><em>it</em><em> </em><em>may</em><em> </em><em>be</em><em> </em><em>not</em><em> </em><em>so</em><em> </em><em>much</em><em> </em><em>helpful.But</em><em>,</em><em> </em><em>I</em><em> </em><em>tried</em><em> </em><em>my</em><em> </em><em>best</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>Hope</em><em> </em><em>you</em><em> </em><em>are</em><em> </em><em>clarified</em><em>.</em>

Answer: 8 liters  can.

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to find the volume of the cart tank . Since it is in the shape of a rectangular prism we have to multiply the length by the width by the height to find the volume.

V= 40 * 25 * 8

V =  8000

Which means that the volume is 8000 cubic centimeters.

Now convert 8000 cubic centimeters to liter.

It gives us a hint that 1 liter is equal to 1000 cm^3

So to convert 8000 cubic centimeters to liters we will have to divide it by 1000.

8000/1000 = 8 liters.

Tammy said the product of 5/7 and 1 1/4 is 1 3/4.
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

Tammy is incorrect

Step-by-step explanation:

The product of 5/7 and 1 1/4 is,

(5/7) x (1 1/4)

turn the mixed number to a whole number.

1 1/4= 4/4 + 1/4 = 5/4

(5/7) x (5/4) = 25/28 which is approximately 0.8929

Tammy believes it equals 1 3/4

1 3/4 = 4/4 + 3/4 = 7/4 which is 1.75

0.8929 does not equal 1.75
