Answer:

1)The three different types are Pyramids of energy, biomass, and numbers A pyramid of biomass illustrates the relative amount of living organic matter at each trophic level.

2)NO AND YES let me tell you why)) YES it would be possible the reason why i say yes its because it's on the ground and all you got to do is dig on the ground to make flat ground.NO, it would not be possible at the same time because their is a lot of animals every where and there no where to put them.

3)Pyramids of numbers. A pyramid of numbers shows the total number of individual organisms at each level in the food chain of an ecosystem. A pyramid of numbers does not always have a regular pyramid shape because it does not take into account the biomass of the organisms. No it would not be possible to construct a pyramid on the biomass unless you cut it all down!!

4)Image result for What consumes energy at each trophic level? How does this contribute to energy loss between trophic levels?

Energy decreases as it moves up trophic levels because energy is lost as metabolic heat when the organisms from one trophic level are consumed by organisms from the next level. Trophic level transfer efficiency (TLTE) measures the amount of energy that is transferred between trophic levels.

5) When an herbivore eats a plant, what happens to 90% of the energy obtained from that plant? 10% of the total energy from the plant gets stored in the herbivore's body as extra body tissue

6)each of several hierarchical levels in an ecosystem, comprising organisms that share the same function in the food chain and the same nutritional relationship to the primary sources of energy. The trophic level of an organism is the position it occupies in a food web. A food chain is a succession of organisms that eat other organisms and may, in turn, be eaten themselves. The trophic level of an organism is the number of steps it is from the start of the chain

7)The number of trophic level in food chain is limited because at each trophic level a large amount of energy is being utilized for the maintenance of organism and lost as heat. The energy keep on decreasing at each trophic level and only 10% of the energy is being passed to the next level

Which of the four levels of protein structure is maintained after denaturing?
Alexxx [7]
Denaturation of proteins includes the interruption and conceivable decimation of both the secondary  and tertiary structures. Since denaturation responses are not sufficiently solid to break the peptide bonds, the essential structure (arrangement of amino acids) continues as before after a denaturation procedure.

Answer:

  1. The skeleton provides a framework for <u>organs</u> and soft tissue attachment.
  2. Blood is formed in the <u>red</u> bone marrow.
  3. <u>Calcium</u> is released and deposited in the bones and blood to maintain (<em>calcium</em>) homeostasis.
  4. <u>Minerals (calcium and phosphorus)</u> are stored in the bones.
  5. When muscles <u>contract/relax</u>, the bones attached to them move.

Explanation:

  • The skeleton is made up of bones that attaches muscle to the organs. Together, it allows the movement of body for a desired task, e.g. walking, exercising, eating, etc.
  • Organisms usually have two types of bone marrows, i.e. red and yellow. Red bone marrow is typical for the production of red blood cells (blood) along with platelets and white blood cell formation. In the yellow bone marrow, however, only white blood cells are formed.
  • Calcium release in the blood is controlled by parathyroid hormone. Its optimal release is important for calcium homeostasis of the living organism both for bone formation and other biochemical processes.
  • Minerals mainly calcium and phosphorus are stored in the bones. In the animal's body, 99% calcium and 85% of phosphorus are stored in the bones.
  • The contraction and relaxing of muscle are crucial for the movement of animal's body. For that, two types of muscle fibers namely actin and myosin work together. Actin slides on myosin which is governed by nerve impulses and results in contraction. The relaxing of muscle is an opposite process in which muscle fibers restore to their original positions.

Anorexic individuals have trouble maintaining normal body temperature because of?
nlexa [21]

Anorexic individuals have trouble maintaining normal body temperature because of the loss of body fat as insulation and lack of appropriate weight-loss strategy.

Anorexia nervosa patients (ANs) have significantly lower core temperatures (T-core) compared to healthy controls (HCs). This reduced temperature represents a reset T-core that needs to be maintained.

The development of anorexia nervosa (AN) is attributed to psycho-social causes. Anorexic individuals have night sweats because the low body weight interrupts the body's normal hormonal functions, which may halt ovulation. Excessive exercise and stress can cause similar problems.

It also effects the body if a person with anorexia becomes severely malnourished, every organ in the body can be damaged, including the brain, heart and kidneys. This damage may not be fully reversible, even when the anorexia is under control.
