in this question only one trait is used which is height so it represent mendel law of segregation and the ratio of this law is 3;1 here 3 is for tall plant amd 1 is for short plant so if we have 200 short plant in f2 generation then tall plants should be 3 times greater than short plants so tall plants should be 600

I think they will grow petter alone if they are not planted in the same pot. The one plant will absorb more nutrients from the soil it is planted in rather than if it was planted with another.
