These are some tips I use to study math

Pay attention in class - if you pay attention to each and every detail in class you will understand the concept better .
Try taking math notes in class . All you need is a book and a pen . Write down everything that is new to you and write down formulas that you might need. This way you know what is in the chapter . And when you feel something doesn’t seem right you can ask your teacher. During your exams you can easily review these notes and you don’t have to search in the textbook for certain points or formulas. Use different colors and decorate your notes but don’t spend time in that because you might use these notes for only some time .

Solve the sums every day -solve the sums in your textbook. Solve the exercises of math and try to use the internet to get different sums that are similar to the concept you are learning. This will repeat the concept and you can understand it better. Try to do math each and every day. First do 10 sums and improve to do 20-30 sums each day . This way you know what sums you need to work on and what you already know.

Don’t be afraid to ask your questions- if you don’t understand some questions or doubts then feel free to ask . If you don’t ask soon enough you might lose your chance .

Read the textbook- read through the textbook and mark the important things you have to remember . Also make a layout of the chapter that includes the topics that you learnt in the chapter and their page numbers and so when it’s your exam all you need to do is look at the layout and if you don’t know a topic you can review it easily.

During the exam all you need to do is open you textbook check the important points and formulas and the layout of the chapter. If you don’t understand any concept then it will be easy to revise it . If you made notes you can look at them and revise quickly.
Before the exams gather all the sums together and separate them into two categories
1. The easy ones
2. The hard ones

Solve the easy ones first and try to understand the hard ones . This way you know the concept in the textbook questions and the same concept will be put into another question with the same meaning during the exam/test

You can try to solve online worksheets and tests based on the topic you are learning so tHat the concept is repeated in your head . Also try doing quizzes .

This should help you study math much easier and quicker.
Try to give at least one hour to math .

konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

The answer will be: C: 2t + 10

Step-by-step explanation:

You can check the answer by replacing t with any number.

Example:

I want to find the perimeter for 3 triangles. Here's how I would write the equation.

2(3) + 10 = 6 + 10 = 16

We can check by adding all the sides for three triangles.

2 + 2 + 2 + 5 + 5 = 16

Hope this helped :)

Find the area and perimeter
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

area (A) =(9x+108)unit^2

perimeter (P) =(2x+42) units

Step-by-step explanation:

area(A) =length(l) × breadth(b)

perimeter(P) =2(l+ b) {which is sum of all sides}

so, l = 7+x+5 = (x+12) units and b = 9 units

now, A=(x+12) × 9 units^2

=(9×x + 12×9 ) units^2

Therefore,

A =(9x+108)unit^2

next, P=2{(x+12)+9}

=2(x+21)

Hence,

P=(2x+42) units

In 25 words or fewer, compare the mathematical and algebraic

expressions.
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

use own words

Step-by-step explanation:

An expression is just a mathematical phrase. In this tutorial, you'll learn about two popular types of expressions: numerical and algebraic expressions. A numerical expression contains numbers and operations. An algebraic expression is almost exactly the same except it also contains variables.

in mathematics, an algebraic expression is an expression built up from integer constants, variables, and the algebraic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and exponentiation by an exponent that is a rational number)

What is 360x 10 to the 3rd power?
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer: 360,000

Reason:

Think of 360 as 360.0

We move the decimal point 3 spots to the right to get to 360,000.0 or simply 360,000; this movement of 3 to the right is directly because of the exponent over the 10.

The 10^3 represents "thousand", so "360 x 10^3" is "360 thousand" = 360,000.
