My mom is suffering from false guilt, there is no way she would have prevented the accident as she had no existing proof or real knowledge that was going to happen, a dream can’t be considered scientific, or a fact, actually, it could have had a different meaning as most of the dreams are reflexes from our lives and they hardly can predict the future.

False guilt can be triggered by things that you have no control of, and it’s a mental suffering.

In order to recover from this feeling, I should help my mom by educating her about this problem, telling her that she should adjust her expectations and analyze things from a real perspective and finally, reframe what she believes and what she tells herself about the accident.
