Answer:

Nobody is my friend

They only come when they want

Knowing I have things to give

Objects

But truth be told

I have given it all away

And for what?

Nothing

I gave my life for nothing

Now all I have left

Is my misery and despair

Do not fall into the same trap,

Dear reader.

The trap of love

This is a horrible life to live

You will die lonely

Lonely and Isolated

On the inside, at least

I gave everything away

I can not live on tomorrow's bread

Freedom is a great privilege

That I do not have

Born in this country

But this life is a foregin land

Lonely and cold am I

In this cold world I breath

Words with no meaning

Words with no say

Words with no meaning

Words that will lead you astray

Listen to my plead

Listen to my speech!

Let me bring life into the grey!

Sad and lonely am I

BUT!

I put on a mask

Warm but cold

Tears are hidden

My heart will turn stone

You won’t see me cry

You’ll see me laugh and smile

But deep down…

If you look hard enough

You’ll frown

Frown as you see me die

So, I’m going to live 'till I die

I’m gonna laugh instead of cry…

Dead am I

With grey winds

And white colorless snow

Take it all away

Till I see nothing

Till I feel nothing

My pride is gone

My tears are gone

I stare at you with a blank face and a smile

I’ve run away

Away from reality

But now I’m coming back

Coming back home

Facing the truth

Turn my back to the lie

I smile and wave

So I won’t cry

The truth I’ve run away from

Chased me like a pack of wolves

Let it eat me alive!

Let it seal my alibi!

I’m lonely for life

Don’t lie to me, no more!

The truth is clear

With no friends

But two warm hands

Kendra, Sheldon, and I

My hopes of the world

To be a better, kinder place

Lies in the palms

Of these two faces

If they are gone

I will die

Don’t take away my happiness!

Please…. Let me live my life

Read the excerpt from “Birches” by Robert Frost.
klemol [59]

Answer: The sun has a wondrous effect on icy birch branches.

Explanation:

Robert Frost in this excerpt speaks of how birches are affected by ice and then by the environment around them from how the birches are bent by ice to how the icy branches are then affected by the wind, rain and sun.

At the end Robert describes the effect the sun has on the branches and notes how the sun enables the birches to shed to snow in such heaps that one might think a part of heaven has fallen. As heaven is considered so beautiful, it must mean that the effect the sun had was a beautiful and wonderful one.

Answer:

C). Mrs. Bennet has ample fortune to support her unmarried daughters for the rest of their lives.

Explanation:

The inference that readers can draw from the given paragraph would be that 'Mrs. Bennet had adequate fortune to back her unmarried daughters for the rest of their life.' <u>This inference can be made from the description like 'property consisted almost entirely in an estate of two thousand a year</u>', 'ample for her situation in life', etc. At that time, only male heirs or a distant relative(in absence of male heir) were allowed to inherit the property and therefore, the daughters sadly had no right to inherit their paternal estate or property. This is the reason why Mrs. Bennet looks for guys with 'possession of a good fortune' for marrying her daughters in order to fulfill this deficiency. Thus,<u> option C</u> is the correct answer.
