So we have cylinder with area 1.2*0.5=0.6m^2
We want to cover it 2 times so 0.6*2=1.2m^2
If 0.5 is side of square (rectangle actually) the radius is 0.25. We have to calculate area of base and top too, so
2*2(3.14*0.25^2)=0.785
1.2+0.785=1.985 - total area
Now we just have to divide 1.985 by 0.56 to see how many cans he does he need.
1.985:0.56=3.54====> 4 because he cant buy 3.54 of it.
The result is 4.

First pair goes to f(x) = 20x
Next pair goes to f(x) = 10x + 20
Third pair goes to f(x) = 10x + 25
Last pair goes to f(x) = 20x + 10

Tiya flipped a coin 40 times. The coin landed heads up 16 times and tails up 24 times.
beks73 [17]

Answer:

16:40, 0.4

Step-by-step explanation:

experimental probability would be a ratio consisting of the number of times the coin lands on heads to the total number of times the coin is flipped so it would be 16 to 40 or simply 16:40

theoretical probability would be a way to show the likeliness of the coin landing on heads and can be found by dividing the number of flips that is expected to land heads up by the total number of flips so you divide 16 by 40 which equals 0.4

We have a null hypothesis that u=3.75, but we are reluctant to accept this as the population value in case the true value is dif
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

option A

Step-by-step explanation:

To Test

H₀ : μ = 3.75

H₁ : μ ≠ 3.75

now,

If μ = 3.95 then it means H₀ is not true.

then the probability is rejecting the null hypothesis.

Hence, the probability is the power of the test against the alternative μ=3.95

The correct answer is option A

Write the sum of 32+20 as the product of their GCF and add another sum
vladimir2022 [97]
The factors of 32 are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32.

The factors of 20 are 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, and 20.

The common factors of 32 and 20 are 1, 2, and 4.

The greatest one is 4.

32 = 4 x 8

20 = 4 x 5

32 + 20 = (4 x 8) + (4 x 5)

32 + 20 = 4 (8 + 5)
