There are many examples in which people choose to ignore decades of discoveries, such as flat Earthers. This is caused by either two things. Number one is that these people are extremely uneducated and choose what to believe just because that is what they see, they don’t care what others see. In short, a narrowed perspective. Number two is that these people do know what they are talking about but decide to spread such false information just for attention, they don’t care what it does to their reputation, as long as they get more cash they call it winning.
Some negative effects of the industrial revolution towards society was that kids were working in factories at a young age which lead to lack of education and injuries. The environment was getting negatively influenced due to the increase of factories. The economy grew tremendously though so that was a positive outcome. Also jobs became plentiful which made it easier for women to work outside of home.
