Jonathan has a bag that co rains exactly one red marble (r), one yellow marble (y) and one green marble (g). He chooses a marble

form the bag without looking. Without replaces the marble he chooses a second marble from the bag without looking. Which outcomes would be included in the sample space for Jonathan's experiment?

Answer: The first outcome shall be 0.33 or 33%.

The second outcome would be 0.5 or 50%

Step-by-step explanation: The bag contains exactly one yellow, one red and one green marble. So when he draws the first marble the sample space shall be the total possible outcomes, which is three, since he has three (3) marbles altogether. When he draws the first time without looking, all three marbles have an equal probability of being picked which can be derived thus;

P(Red) = Number of required possibilities/Number of all possibilities

P(Red) = 1/3

P(Red) = 0.33

Note that there is only one marble of each color which means P(Yellow) and P(Green) is also 0.33 respectively.

After choosing the first marble, without replacing the first one he now chooses another marble. The sample size would have reduced to 2 (since one marble has been drawn). Hence, the outcome when he draw a second marble can be calculated as follows;

P(Red) = Number of required outcomes/Number of possible outcomes

P(Red) = 1/2

P(Red) = 0.5

Most people use the decomposition method but i dont know how to do that so i use the Joes method a method similar to decomp. but easier.
canadian way

Find gcf: None
complet trinomial: 18n^2+57-10
find the product=10(18)
                       =-180
find the sum     =57
-3 and 60 goes into both meaning if you multiply 3 and60 you get -180 and if you add them you get 57.

so (n-3)(n+60)
divide by a in this case it 18
so (n-3)(n+60)
       18     18
do not divide. treat it like a fraction so you reduce it to lowest terms
(n-3)(n-3)
   18   10
at this point its reduced to lowest terms so now you take the deniminator and move it beside the "n"

=(18n-3)(10n-3)

therefore your answer is (18n-3)(10n-3)
I hoped this helped :)

Helpp pls????????????
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

It just means that it is not equal to each other so the equation is false.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equal sign with a line through it means that they aren't the same. -12 is a different number from 12 so they can't end up being the same in the end of the equation.

Hope this helps!
