Hello!

Explanation:

First, you had to do is subtract by 5 from both sides of an equation.

5-3a-5

And then simplify.

10+5=15

-3a

Next, you can also multiply by -1 from both sides of an equation. It can also used by reverse inequality.

(-3a)(-1)>(-15)(-1)

Simplify by equation.

3a>15

Then you divide by 3 from both sides of an equation.

\frac{3a}{3}> \frac{15}{3}

Finally, simplify or dividing into the groups.

15/3=5

*The answer must have a positive sign*

Final answer: → \boxed{a>5}

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

SashulF [63]
It wnts you to get b by itself. We ca n do this by dividing both sides by 1/2 h.

We get:
\frac{2A}{h} = b .

What is the solution of the system?
Goshia [24]
X=3, y=3

Solve the following system:
{4 x + 2 y = 18 | (equation 1)
2 x + 3 y = 15 | (equation 2)
Subtract 1/2 × (equation 1) from equation 2:
{4 x + 2 y = 18 | (equation 1)
0 x+2 y = 6 | (equation 2)
Divide equation 1 by 2:
{2 x + y = 9 | (equation 1)
0 x+2 y = 6 | (equation 2)

Divide equation 2 by 2:
{2 x + y = 9 | (equation 1)
0 x+y = 3 | (equation 2)
Subtract equation 2 from equation 1:
{2 x+0 y = 6 | (equation 1)
0 x+y = 3 | (equation 2)
Divide equation 1 by 2:{x+0 y = 3 | (equation 1)
0 x+y = 3 | (equation 2)

What is 82% of 525?<br> Show work
True [87]

Answer:

430.5

Step-by-step explanation:

1. We assume, that the number 525 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task.

2. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for.

3. If 525 is 100%, so we can write it down as 525=100%.

4. We know, that x is 82% of the output value, so we can write it down as x=82%.

5. Now we have two simple equations:

1) 525=100%

2) x=82%

where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that:

525/x=100%/82%

6. Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.

7. Solution for what is 82% of 525

525/x=100/82

(525/x)*x=(100/82)*x       - we multiply both sides of the equation by x

525=1.219512195122*x       - we divide both sides of the equation by (1.219512195122) to get x

525/1.219512195122=x

430.5=x

x=430.5

now we have:

82% of 525=430.5
