Solve the inequality.
-4 (7 + 6x)< -2(x+3)
write in inequality integer form
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

-1 >x

Step-by-step explanation:

-4(7+6x)<-2(x-6)

-28-24x<2(x-6)

-28-24x<-2x-6

+6. +6

-22-24x<-2x

+24x +24x

-22 < 22x.

-22÷-22=1 that canceled out

+22÷-22= -1

-1>x. because we divided by a negative the inequality switched.

Hope this helped

I don’t understand plz I struggle with math so much plz help !

If the ratio is 5:7 and Meg's cat is 20 kilograms, we can say that 5*4(to figure this out, divide 20 by 5 in this problem) would be 20. We know what Meg's cat is 20 kilograms, but we need Anne's cat. Do the same thing, except with the other number in the ratio-7. Seven times 4 would equal 28. We are not done yet though. We need to know how many MORE kilograms Anne's cat is than Meg's cat. So, you would do 28 - 20 to equal 8 kilograms. Anne's cat is 8 kilograms more than Meg's cat. I hope this helps!
