Answer:

d.fathers father

Explanation:

A woman obtains one chromosome from her mother and one from her father. Her mother obtained one chromosome from her mother and one from her father so both the maternal grandparents could be source of the genes found on woman's X chromosome.

Woman's father has only one X chromosome which he definitely inherited from his mother. His father or woman's paternal grandfather contributed Y chromosome to his son and hence he could not be responsible for any of the genes on woman's X chromosome.

We decide to classify all ways that substances can move across a membrane into two groups: assisted by proteins and not assisted
Sonja [21]
The previous statement is true because if a substance cannot get into a cell membrane it is assisted via protein channels however if it doesn't need the protein channels then it just flows through the membrane.

alex41 [277]
1) Diffusion and osmosis
the diffusion of water through a semipermeable membrane is osmosis and the movement of particles from regions of higher density to regions of lower density is diffusion
2)The passive transport does not require energy and the active transport does ,this is what makes them different
3)Endocytosis is a process for moving items that are outside of the cell into the cytoplasm of the cell. Exocytosis is a process for moving items from the cytoplasm of the cell to the outside.
