The correct answer is A. The crusade increased muslims distrust of europeans.

Despite that muslims were few in population did not mean that they can be transformed to christianity bu t they had their own stand.

They said Saladin the image which was used was romantic and in this reputation of Saladin they forgot it once and for all.

The Crusades increased Muslims’ distrust of Europeans.

Further Explanation:

It was the military expeditions at the start of the 11th century which were initiated by the western European Christians and that was done in response to the centuries of Muslim wars of expansion. The major objectives behind these military expeditions was to check on the spreading of Islam and to again retake the control over the Holy Land of eastern Mediterranean and to recapture the Christian dominated territories. They were seen by majority of the participants as they demanded redemption as well as expiation for the sins and faults they did.

It all started in year 1095 as the first crusade took place in this year and by 1291, Latin Christians were removed from their kingdom in Syria. Even after 1291, the Crusades went on for several years but it started to decline during the 16th century with the initiation of Protestant Reformation. It also started to come to decline with the ending of the Papal authority.
