Let us find the co ordinates of each vertex of the triangle .

Vertex A ( in firs second quadrant) = ( -5 ,3)

vertex B in third quadrant = ( -5, -5)

vertex C in fourth quadrant = ( 4, -2)

let us use distance formula AB^2 = ( -5 - 3)^2 + (-5 - -5 )^2 = 64 + 0

AB= 8

BC^2 = ( -2 - -5 )^2 + ( 4 - - 5)^2 = 9 + 81 = 90

BC = 9.48

AC^2 = ( -2 -3)^2 +( 4- -5)^2 = 25 + 81 = 106

AC= 10.29

Perimeter = sum of length of AB+ BC+ Ac = 8 + 10.29 + 9.48= 22.77

Answer:

27 feet squared

Step-by-step explanation:

the formula for the area of a triangle is b(h)/2 so u just plug in the numbers into the formula from the question. we know that the base is 6ft long and the height is 9ft long.

A = b(h)/2

A = 6(9)/2

A = 27

therefore the area of the sail is 27 feet squared.

sveta [45]
The formula for finding area of a rectangle is a=lw.

Write what is given
Area is 64.
Length if 16.
Width is unknown.
Therefore the equation would look like this:
64=16*w
Now to solve for w.
Divide 16 both sides.
64/16 is 4. Therefore:
w=4

what set numbers could represent the lengths of the sides of a right triangle. (a) 9,11,14 (b) 7,24,25 (c) 15, 18,21 (d) 8,9,10
Anni [7]
The answer is (B) 7, 24, and 25
This is because 7 squared (49) plus 24 squared (576) makes 625, which is 25 squared. This is Pythagoras' theorem. I hope this helps!
