Devide the numerator by the denominator, and look for the repeating numbers
17 divided by 60 = 0.283333333 = repeating
25 divided by 60 = 0.4166666667 = terminating at the 7
31 divided by 44 = 0.7045454545= repeating i think? sorry i cant remember if double numbers repeating like this is the same
54 divided by 72= 0.75 = terminating

I think "u" stands for units. u^2 means units squared which is like saying ft^2 if you were looking for the area of something with feet dimensions. So in this case, the circle has a diameter of x units (u) and an area of x units^2 (u^2\\). It is not the same as r. "r" is most always going to be used to represent the radius.
