Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

During the American Civil War, Robert E Lee became the commander of the Army of Northern Virginia in June 1862 during the Peninsula Campaign after the wounding of Joseph E. Johnston

Lee fought so many battles on the side of Confederates Army, among which are:

1.   Second Battle of Bull Run in August 1862, against Union forces under John Pope in which it resulted into victory

2. He is also notable for his victory at the battle of Fredericksburg in December 1862, against the Union Army of the Potomac commanded by Maj. Gen. Ambrose E. Burnside, it was a massive victory for the Confederates army, despite having number of soldiers that is about half of Union Army.

3.  He also led the command of Confederates army at the battle of Gettysburg in July 1863, which is considered as the turning point of the American Civil War. The Confederates however lost the battle against the Union Maj. Gen. George Meade's Army of the Potomac.

5. Describe the risks and safeguards in the U.S. banking system.
Semmy [17]

Answer:

The first is the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The FDIC insures individual deposits up to $100,000 in the case of a bank collapse. This measure is supposed to inspire confidence in the public that the money it deposits in a bank will not be lost, despite unforeseen events. A second safety measure is a system of bank checks and audits by the government to ensure that prudent banking practices are being observed. These are simply very detailed examinations of bank records and dealings. The third safeguard is the regular verification that banks' holdings meet reserve requirements.
