andriy [413]
There are many long-term results of the crusades in the Middle East but some include the impact that the crusaders had on the holy lands in regards to the construction of buildings, churches, and other important structures. Also culturally this period left a mark on holy land in regards to the presence of important Christian figures. Another major impact of the crusades was the setting of the ongoing struggle between Christians and Muslims in places across the Middle East that some liken to the crusades which occurred centuries ago.
