This is a little tricky but if i had to say, the answer would be A ^-^ The Civil War still hadn't been that long ago, so people of different races still didn't have the same rights as the whites (hence segregation)
B. To find employment opportunities in wartime industries During WWll, blacks still weren't very prevalent in the armed forces, so while the while man went off to war, African Americans took this opportunity to try to find better jobs.
