The correct answer is helicase and nuclease.

Nucleotide excision repair is a mechanism for DNA repair which removes DNA damage often induced by ultraviolet light (UV). The mechanism includes recognition of damage, dual incision, repair, and ligation.

The step of incision occurs via enzyme which has helicase activity (unwind DNA and cut it). The same enzyme also has endonuclease activity (removal of a damage-containing DNA).

djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

fills with blood during arousal and causes an erection.

Explanation:

The corpus spongiosum is a mass of tissue present in the under part of the penis (male sexual structure) that is actively responsible for erection of the penis. The corpus spongiosum, in conjunction with the corpus carvernosa works to maintain erection of the penis in males.

During sexual arousal, the corpus spongiosum, which surrounds the urethra (passage for urine and semen) helps keep the urethra open for semen to be released while the carvernosa becomes filled with blood. This constant flow of blood into the carvernosa makes the penis enlarge and assume an erect position.

A paragraph on the 3 forms of energy involved in a muscle contraction
irga5000 [103]
There are three types of energy involved in a muscle's contraction. There is metabolism, catabolism, and anabolism. Metabolism is the events that are carried out in the human body to create energy and other things needed for activity. Catabolism is the process during the organic matter is broken down and the energy is released, it takes place during increased movement. Anabolism is the energy-consuming process that substances are created, it takes place when there is little movement. All three of these work to gather in muscle contraction.

What are enzyme and activation energy?
Ksju [112]

Answer:

Enzymes are proteins that bind to a molecule, to modify it and lower the energy required to make it react. ( In other words , enzymes are biological catalysts.

Catalysts lower the activation energy for reactions.

In simple terms , The lower the activation energy for a reaction, the faster the rate. )

The activation energy is the energy needed to start a reaction.

Explanation:

Thus enzymes speed up reactions by lowering activation energy.
