Mathematics

One way to compare two ratios is the make the denominator the same, then compare the numerator.
for example, 3/4 and 5/6, the least common multiple of 4 and 6 is 12, so make the denominator into 12
3/4=9/12, 5/6=10/12, 10 is larger than 9, so 5/6 is larger than 3/4

another way to compare is to "cross times"
for example, again 3/4 and 5/6, multiple 3 and 6, you get 18, multiple 4 and 5 you get 20, 20 is larger than 18, so 5/6 is larger than 3/4

Is the relationship between gross box office sales and home video units significant? how can you tell? do you think the linear m
aalyn [17]

The linear model is the best fit for the relationship.

According to the statement

we have given that the relationship between gross box office sales and home video units significant and the linear model is the best fit for the relationship.

And we explain all the given statements.

So, For this purpose, we know that the

Since the p-value of the independent variable, 0.0000, is less than 0.05, we can be 95% confident that there is a significant linear relationship between gross box office and home video units.

And the

linear model is used in different ways according to the context. The most common occurrence is in connection with regression models.

So, the linear model is appropriate for the comparisons.

So, The linear model is the best fit for the relationship.

Four notebooks 4.40. how many notebooks can you buy for 6.60.
denis23 [38]
We know we have $4.40 for 4. Divide 4.40 by 4, you get 1.10. So it's $1.10 per notebook. Therefore, divide 6.60 by 1.10. You get 6, so you can get six notebooks with $6.60.
Hope this helps!
