Hello!

There is 28 students in 4 equal groups. 28 ÷ 4 = 7, so there is 7 kids in each group. She gave each group 35 sheets of paper, so 35 x 4 = 140. 35 ÷ 7 = 5. Each student in one group got 5 sheets and everyone in total got 140 sheets.
Enjoy.

First figure out how many students are in each group.
28 students ÷ 4 groups = 7 students

Now figure out how much paper each student gets
35 sheets ÷ 7 students = 5 sheets per students
5 sheets of paper is your answer

Nicole invested her savings in two investment funds. The amount she invested in Fund A was $3000 less than the amount she invest
victus00 [196]
Let us denote the amount of investment in the Fund B with x. We know that Fund B returned 8% and that in Fund A Nicole invested $3000 less than the amount she invested in Fund B, so we can write: x-3000Fund A returned 6%.
Interest = 2060
The percent has been converted by multiplying the equation by 100
8x+6(x-3000)= 2060*100
8x+6x-18000=206000
14x=206000+18000
14x=224000
x=16000
Nicole invested in Fund B $16000 and in Fund A $16000-3000=13000.

Answer:

K 48 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

First lets determine how big of table cloth we need

The table is 3 ft in diameter which is 36 inches

That means the radius is d/2 = 36/2 = 18 inches

We need to add 5 inches to the radius to hang over the edge

18+5 = 23

We need to add the hem which is 1 inch

23+1 = 24

The radius is 24 inches

The diameter would be 2r = 2*24 = 48 inches
