Answer:

There were 13 Colonies in America from 1607 to 1776.

Explanation:

Before 1776, colonies were established by Britishers as colonies were regarded as valuable because they could supply necessary raw materials. The mercantilist policy was a vital part of colonization in America. There were a total of 13 colonies before the independence of America in 1776. These colonies divided into three parts according to their geographical regions, including the New England, the Middle and the Southern colonies.

The New England Colonies were established by the Puritans, who escaped England to practise religion without persecution. New England had access to natural resources, including forests and mountains. People were merchants, traders, artisans, along with fishing and whaling.

The location of the middle colonies along the coast region made it as a trading centre. The favourable climatic condition led settlers to occupy in growing crops like corn and wheat with livestock. Colonies involved in shipbuilding, iron ore, textiles, furs and lumber.

The Southern Colonies centred on agriculture and began the plantations growing tobacco, grain, fruit,  cotton, vegetables, and livestock. These colonies had slave populations who worked in plantations

The different regions had different religious influences but were parts of the colonization.

Explain why history is about the same topic might change over time
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

The fact that the past changes should not be regarded as a nuisance. It is one of the things historians are interested in. It is also one of the things which make history difficult. But the background situations in history, such as the receptivity of a culture to an idea, can and do change over time.

What was one of President Lincoln's major frustrations early in the Civil War? A. Overly aggressive military leaders B. Too many
Dima020 [189]
During the Civil War, President Lincoln appointed George McClellan as General and he must play an important role in raising well-trained and organized army.

Though General McClellan did a great job in developing and training armies, he was known to be indecisive and seems to lack aggressive military leadership.
