How do genes have an additive effect in polygenic inheritance?

Biology
1 answer:
7nadin3 [17]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

The traits that are determined by polygenic inheritance are not an effect of dominance and recessivity, and do not exhibit complete dominance as in Mendelian Genetics, where one allele dominates another. Instead, polygenic traits exhibit incomplete dominance so the phenotype displayed in offspring is a mixture of the phenotypes displayed in the parents. Each of the genes that contributes to a polygenic trait has an equal influence and each of the alleles has an additive effect on the phenotype outcome. Hope this helps!

Answer:

Are formed from products that are synthesized in the endoplasmic recticulum and processed by the Golgi apparatus.

Explanation:

Lysosomes are membrane bound organelles which contain A lot of hydrolytic enzymes. These enzymes are responsible for catalyzing various hydrolysis reactions.

Lysosomes take part in digestion, once food molecules is absorbed by the cell these Lysosomes attach and release their enzymes which breaks down complex sugars and protein.

The endomembrane system can be described as a series of compartments which is made out of the endoplasmic recticulum and Golgi apparatus, they both work together to transport protein throughout the cell.
