The correct answer is I and III only.

When you read a text and want to decide what the author's purpose for writing it was, then you need to take a look at the evidence he or she presented, as well as whether or not that evidence was appropriate. What is irrelevant here, however, is how fast or how slow you read the text - that has nothing to do with the author's purpose.

Answer:

I and III

Explanation:

When making inferences about an author's purpose, you should include evidence from the story. This would prove to the reader that you have carefully analyzed the text and that you have enough information to make an assessment. It would also allow the reader to go back to the text and reach a conclusion by his or herself. Moreover, you should also explain how this evidence works so that the reader can be sure that your analysis is correct. However, the length of time it took you to read the work is irrelevant to the topic.

In this poem, what is the significance of the poet’s comparison of love to "childhood’s faith"?
Rama09 [41]
Well, you can analyze the poem any way you want, poetry is open to everyone's interpretation. I believe that when the poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, compares love to "childhood's faith," she wants to show the innocence of that love. Children have blind faith in their parents, friends, etc. and can be quite naive, the way her love is as well. However, she can also be talking about the power of her love, because a child's faith is unbreakable - it is so strong, just as much as her love. Hope this helps!
