Christmas because it is Jesus's birthday and we give gifts to other's and it's just fun to put up the Christmas tree and all the lights and stuff so yeah. Not to mention, it kinda gets us closer to our families.
I believe that the MOST reasonable answer would be A.) never use daffodils with other flowers in arrangements. If they are harmful to other plants it would be best to just keep them seperate, and the rest of the other options just seem unreasonable and too much work just for something so simple :P
