Scale factor is a 1 to 1 ratio, whereas volume is that 1 to 1 cubed.  So take the cubed root of each of those numbers and divide the number you get from the left by the number you get from the right to find that scale factor.  I'll do the first one for you, and then since all of them are volumes, they're all done the same exact way.
\frac{ \sqrt[3]{1875} }{ \sqrt[3]{960} } = \frac{12.33}{9.86} =1.25.  This means that the figure on the left is 1.25 times larger than the one on the right.  That's the one-to-one.

Answer:

The number they would count is \approx 0.49\cdot10^{-2}\ \%}

Step-by-step explanation:

One mole is equal to 6.02214076x10^23 particles. In order to know the number counted by every human on Earth we simply multiply the number of humans times the count a "good counter" can achieve, 4x10^9x7.44x10^9 (for USA, change to 4x10^12 if you use de British English definition). Thus:

\displaystyle{\frac{4\cdot10^9\cdot7.44\cdot10^9}{6.02214076\cdot10^{23}}=\frac{2.976\cdot 10^{19}}{6.02214076\cdot10^{23}}\approx 0.49 \cdot 10^{-4}\approx 0.49\cdot10^{-2}\ \%}

Solve for F.<br> 3(6-f)-4=3f-4
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

F=3

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

3(6−f)−4=3f−4

(3)(6)+(3)(−f)+−4=3f+−4(Distribute)

18+−3f+−4=3f+−4

(−3f)+(18+−4)=3f−4(Combine Like Terms)

−3f+14=3f−4

−3f+14=3f−4

Step 2: Subtract 3f from both sides.

−3f+14−3f=3f−4−3f

−6f+14=−4

Step 3: Subtract 14 from both sides.

−6f+14−14=−4−14

−6f=−18

Step 4: Divide both sides by -6.

−6f−6=−18−6f=3

f=3
