I really need help with this equation

Note:  a⁻ⁿ =  1/aⁿ   

m⁻⁵ = 1/32.              32 = 2⁵

1/m⁵ = 1/2⁵        Comparing numerator and denominator

m⁵ = 2⁵             

Since the powers are the same, therefore the base must also be same.

m = 2

M = -6.5, because -6.5 times itself -5 times, it will be equivalent to 1/32.
