The unconditioned response is the queasiness that Carson feels whenever he sees lime sherbet. It is because an unconditioned response occurs naturally after the person has been associated with an unconditioned stimulus that triggers an unconditioned response to occur by which the reaction occurs naturally.

Which statement BEST describes Jomo Kenyatta's importance in post-colonial Africa?
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

The answer is Option B: He led a revolution against the British who controlled his country.

Explanation:

Jomo Kenyatta is important to the movement for independence in Kenya and in anti-colonial resistance in Africa more widely.  He was Prime Minister of Kenya from 1963 to 1964 and then the country's first President from 1964 to 1978. He became the leader of an advocacy group called Kikuyu Central Association (KCA), and published a Kikuyu-language newspaper called Mwigithania that pushed for reforms and he was outspoken in his critique of the colonial policies of the British government. He spent a number of years studying abroad in the UK and the Soviet Union, and then he returned to Kenya and became leader of the Kenya Africa Union. He was arrested and imprisoned for 7 years on allegations he helped to lead the Mau Mau rebellion of 1952 but he always denied involvement.

How might fear allow the church to control the people and their lives in<br> Middle Ages
Leona [35]

Answer:

The Church was the single most dominant institution in medieval life, its influence pervading almost every aspect of people's lives. Its religious observances gave shape to the calendar; its sacramental rituals marked important moments in an individual's life (including baptism, confirmation, marriage, the eucharist, penance, holy orders and the last rites); and its teachings underpinned mainstream beliefs about ethics, the meaning of life and the afterlife.
