Answer: False

Explanation:

This is an aerobic resperation definition

Cellular respiration is when the cells of a liveing organism (human etc) break down the organic compound glucose with oxygen to produce a waste product (specifically carbon dioxide). BUT how is cellular respiration related to breathing. Breathing consists of inhaling and exhaling, its purpose is to move gasses into and out of the body. The oxygen needed for cellular respiration is brought into the body with each inhalation. carbon dioxide and water vapor is released from the body with each exhale.

In summary cellular resperation (areobic respiration) is how our cells in our body turn glucose and oxygen into energy. breathing is just how our cells get the oxygen and how it releases its waste products such as carbon dioxide and water vapor

Hoped this helped pls rate or heart I spent 30 minutes researching this topic.

Answer:

False, it's simply respiration

Explanation:

cellular respiration is a long , complex process, where energy is released after complete metabolisation of the food inside the cell of an organism

Which best explains how the collisions of materials in space contribute to the formation of layers in protoplanets?
Sedbober [7]

Answer:The best explanation is;

The materials undergo decay when they collide, which results in the heating and subsequent melting and rising of materials

Explanation: A protoplanet is an embryo formed in a protoplanetary disc which has passed through a melting phase that enables the formation layered interior

In protoplanets the effects of partial melting of the components due to heating produced by radioactive decay and  pressures from forces of gravity there is segregation of the melt and igneous composition such that the heavier melted metal can sink and be over laid by the lighter igneous rocks

Therefore, the best explanation is that the materials undergo decay when they collide, which results in the heating and subsequent melting and segregation by the sinking of the heavier melted materials and rising of the lighter igneous materials.

The structure of a typical antibody molecule

Antibodies are the secreted form of the B-cell receptor. An antibody is identical to the B-cell receptor of the cell that secretes it except for a small portion of the C-terminus of the heavy-chain constant region. In the case of the B-cell receptor the C-terminus is a hydrophobic membrane-anchoring sequence, and in the case of antibody it is a hydrophilic sequence that allows secretion. Since they are soluble, and secreted in large quantities, antibodies are easily obtainable and easily studied. For this reason, most of what we know about the B-cell receptor comes from the study of antibodies.

Antibody molecules are roughly Y-shaped molecules consisting of three equal-sized portions, loosely connected by a flexible tether. Three schematic representations of antibody structure, which has been determined by X-ray crystallography, are shown in Fig. 3.1. The aim of this part of the chapter is to explain how this structure is formed and how it allows antibody molecules to carry out their dual tasks—binding on the one hand to a wide variety of antigens, and on the other hand to a limited number of effector molecules and cells. As we will see, each of these tasks is carried out by separable parts of the molecule. The two arms of the Y end in regions that vary between different antibody molecules, the V regions. These are involved in antigen binding, whereas the stem of the Y, or the C region, is far less variable and is the part that interacts with effector cells and molecules.

Receptors for acetylcholine are located on the
elena-s [515]

Answer:

plasma membrane of the target cell

Explanation:

There are two main types of acetylcholine (ACh)receptors:

  1. muscarinic ACh receptors (because muscarin as agonist) which are G-protein coupled receptors that initiate slow response. Mostly, they are located in the central nervous system-CNS (involved in the release of neurotransmitters), heart (control of the heart rate), smooth muscles (contraction).
  2. nicotinic ACh receptors (nicotin is agonist) which are  ligand-gated ion channels involved in the fast response. They are located at neuromuscular junctions but also in CNS (involved in synaptic transmission between two neurons).
