Correct answer: you should never smoke when oxygen is in use.

Explanation: Although oxygen is a gas which doesn't catch fire. But an environment rich in oxygen can easily cause burning of other substances which catch fire quickly. Therefore, doctors suggest that the patient should put off the oxygen mask away for few minutes while he/she is smoking.

Also, since the patients on oxygen already have some sort of respiratory or heart diseases, such patients can worsen the condition by smoking.

Explanation:

The definition of speciation is:  the evolutionary process by which populations evolve to become distinct species.

Kruka [31]

ANSWERS:

They are both ionic compounds.

These compounds are made up of H^{+} cations (positively-charged ion) and either NO_{3}^- or SO_{4}^{-} anions (negatively-charged ions).

Their names both end in -ic acid.

Acids are named based on their anion. With acids like these where the anion is attached to a hydrogen cation, we name such acids with the the suffix “-ic”.

They both contain polyatomic ionic.

NO_{3}^- and SO_{4}^{-} are both polyatomic ions.

"Poly-" = many

"ions" = have a + or - charge

So, yes, these are ions that are made up of several atoms (not just one atom like H^{+})
