Answer:

The ballet flat's intersection with fashion

Explanation:

Claire McCardell was a fashion designer. His creations were aimed at reaching the common woman who had housewife duties, but who did not want to give up style.

In 1940, McCardell found himself with little access to the fabrics that were most requested by his clients. This limitation of tissue was the result of the Second World War, when all resources in all sectors were scarce and limited. McCardell had to reinvent himself and at that moment he started using less noble fabrics, but they were easily found in the USA. To overcome the scarcity of leather for the production of shoes, she decided to use ballet flat and combine it with stylish clothes that corresponded to the situation and the fashion that was being established at that time.

Summarize the consequences of Imperialism for European conquerors.
Rufina [12.5K]

In historical contexts, New Imperialism characterizes a period of colonial expansion by Western European powers, the United States, Russia, and Japan during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.[1] The period featured an unprecedented pursuit of overseas territorial acquisitions. At the time, states focused on building their empires with new technological advances and developments, expanding their territory through conquest, and exploiting the resources of the subjugated countries. During the era of New Imperialism, the Western powers (and Japan) individually conquered almost all of Africa and parts of Asia. The new wave of imperialism reflected ongoing rivalries among the great powers, the economic desire for new resources and markets, and a "civilizing mission" ethos. Many of the colonies established during this era gained independence during the era of decolonization that followed World War II.

The qualifier "new" is used to differentiate modern imperialism from earlier imperial activity, such as the formation of ancient empires and the so-called first wave of European colonization.

Why is it important to elevate the anthers
Lapatulllka [165]
The anthers are in the elevated position so that the pollinators will be attracted towards it, and that the pollen grains are easily carried away by the agents of pollination. The proper pollination is essential for the process of fertilization.
Hope this helps:)
