Explanation

The medieval society also known as the Middle Age Society was a period of time in the European history. It is the time between the fall of Imperial Rome and the beginning of the Early modern Europe. The education system of Medieval society was highly influenced by the church. NUNs in the medieval society were the individuals who had most education in those times. The life of Medieval nuns was dedicated to worship, reading, and working in the convent In addition to their attendance at church, the nuns spent several hours in private prayer, and meditation. which two sentences explain why the Delhi sultanate did not convert the majority of indians to islam?
VARVARA [1.3K]
Well I can't see the possible sentences, but muslims were a minority in India at the time and the population was predominantly Hindu. Forcing the majority of the population to change their religion forcibly (and through that many of their core values, beliefs, traditions and practices) was a quick way to create political unrest which could lead to a revolution. They we're already a minority ruling a large and powerful nation, so they were already dealing with a lot of resistance from the population as it was. Maybe they wanted to practice tolerance for moral reasons, but more likely they just didn't want to push their luck when they were already struggling to remain popular.
