Let the line be y= mx+C

Passes through origin i.e (0,0)

Hence 0= m×0+C →C=0

Hence line becomes y= mx

Passes through origin i.e (10,5)

Hence 5= m×10→m=5/10= 0.5

Hence line becomes y=0.5 x

Plz help me and explain how you got the answer
Reptile [31]
So first (3 1/2) equals to 3+1/2 which is 7/2, same for(2 1/3), 2+1/3=7/3. It's asking for speed in laps per minute, so like how many labs did she swim per minute, which is labs over time——(7/2)/(7/3)=(7/2)*(3/7)=3/2. So she swam 3/2 labs per minute.

Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

  1.32 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a fraction of the market goods, we can find the remaining fraction by subtracting the given fraction from 1.

The fraction of the goods the farmer sells that is pears will be ...

  (apples +pears) = (apples) +(pears)

  pears = (apples +pears) -(apples)

  pears = 1 - 4/5 = 1/5 . . . . . of the total goods

One-fifth of the goods sold will have a weight of ...

  (1/5) × (6.6 kg) = 1.32 kg

The farmer sold 1.32 kg of pears at the market.
