The point at the center of an object where weight is evenly dispersed and all sides are in balance is called <u>center of gravity</u>. The <u>center of mass</u> is the point where all of the object's mass can be considered to be concentrated.
During everyday conditions on Earth, due to the uniform gravity field, these two centers will be identical.
