Answer:

solving abolition for all slaves both in the North and South

Explanation:

The Emancipation Proclamation helped the United States get to total abolition of slavery. With the Emancipation Proclamation, the goal of the war also included freeing slaves to preserve the Union. Even though the Emancipation Proclamation first only freed slaves in more liberal states, near the end of the war, the Emancipation Proclamation influenced and prepared citizens to advocate and accept abolition for all slaves in both the North and South. Then, the 13th Amendment (that abolished slavery in the USA) was finally passed in December of 1865 as a result of this.

How have Texans modified the areas where they live
insens350 [35]

Texans, just like other human populations, have modified their environment in order to better suit their needs.

  • Logging has played a big part on the modification of the environment. Timber has been used for energy and construction, and cleared areas have been used for farming or housing.
  • Water bodies have been modified by the use of dams. Water is also channeled in order to prevent flooding and use it for electricity.
  • Cattle and agricultural production have changed the land and the fauna found in the state.
  • The drilling of oil has greatly modified the natural landscape of the region.
