There's four stages in the classical demographic transition model:

Stage 1 - Pre-transition

In this stage, the birth rates are very high, but also the life expectancy is very low, thus the growth of the population is slow.

Stage 2 - Early transition

In this stage, the birth rates are very high, but the life expectancy is increased, so the population grows rapidly.

Stage 3 - Late transition

In this stage, the birth rates decline slightly, and the life expectancy is a bit higher, thus the population growth is slowing down.

Stage 4 - Post-transition

In this stage, the birth rates are declined significantly, the life expectancy is pretty high, so the population is either growing very slowly, or it is declining.

Quadratic Equation
True [87]

Explanation:

This is a product of two expressions that is equal to zero. Note that any xxx value that makes either (x-1)(x−1)left parenthesis, x, minus, 1, right parenthesis or (x+3)(x+3)left parenthesis, x, plus, 3, right parenthesis zero, will make their product zero.

begin{aligned} (x-1)&(x+3)=0

swarrow quad&quadsearrow x-1=0quad&quad x+3=0 x=1quad&quad x=-3 end{aligned}

(x−1)

↙

x−1=0

x=1

(x+3)=0

↘

x+3=0

x=−3

Substituting either x=1x=1x, equals, 1 or x=-3x=−3x, equals, minus, 3 into the equation will result in the true statement 0=0, equals, 0, so they are both solutions to the equation.

Explain how large-scale agriculture leads to increased atmospheric CO2.
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

Large scale agriculture will definitely lead to increased CO2.

Explanation:

This is due to the fact that plants give out oxygen and take in CO2 which is released by animals and man , so due to the large scale agriculture, the excess oxygen released by plants purifies the air of poisonous gases like carbon monoxide and leaving it with carbon dioxide- CO2.
