Geography

It means it’s drawn so that everything is located in the same area but it’s drawn smaller like if you are drawing a map you’d make it so the mountains weren’t actually life size but they are located in the same area

What are farmers doing in the future to protect their crops from drought
Lana71 [14]
Farmers also help mitigate the effects of drought by keeping moisture in the soil. ... Conservation tillage: With conservation tillage, farmers plant without removing residue from the previous season's crop. Because the soil isn't tilled or plowed, more water is retained in it.

starting at the intersection of the equator and the prime meridian and moving west place the three oceans in order as you would
jarptica [38.1K]

If we have the intersection of the equator and the prime meridian as a starting point, and we move towards west, than the three oceans that we will encounter will be in the next order:

1. Atlantic Ocean; lies between Europe and Africa from one side (eastern borders), and North and South America on the other side (western borders). It is in fact our starting point.

2. Pacific Ocean; lies between Asia and Australia form one side (western borders), and North and South America from the other side (eastern borders).

3. Indian Ocean; lies between Southeast Asia and Australia (as its eastern borders) and Africa as its western border, and on the north it borders with South Asia.

The northernmost ocean on our planet is the Arctic Ocean, which is lying around the Arctic circle.

The southernmost ocean is the Southern Ocean which surrounds Antarctica with its waters.

Why is it difficult to make generalizations about the highland climate zone?
charle [14.2K]
It is difficult to make generalizations about the highland climate zone because little research has been done at high altitudes, and data is not readily available. Without actual data, it would be wrong to make any generalization about the highland climate zone.

Hope this helps
