Igoryamba

Answer:

Increase with a stimulant and decrease with a depressant

Explanation:

Stimulants and depressants are observed using various organisms. The way a stimulant works is by increasing the dopamine levels in the body. This in turn causes increased heart rate as would be seen in the chick embryo heart. On the other hand a depressant would lower dopamine levels. This would reduce the neurotransmitter and cause the heart rate to slow down.

Over [174]

In an experimental animal model, total renal plasma flow is 100 ml/min. You would estimate glomerular filtration rate to be 20 ml/min.

What is renal blood flow?

Renal blood flow is the amount of blood delivered to the kidneys per unit of time in kidney physiology. In a 70-kg adult male, the kidneys receive 1.2 to 1.3 L/min, or about 25% of the cardiac output in humans. 94% of it makes it to the cortex.

Renal plasma flow V/S Renal blood flow

Renal blood flow is the measure of blood passing through the kidneys in a given length of time, whereas renal plasma flow is the quantity of plasma passing through the kidneys in a given amount of time. As a result, this is the primary distinction between renal blood flow and renal plasma flow.

What is glomerular filtration rate ?

A test called the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) measures how efficiently the kidneys are functioning. It specifically determines the amount of blood that is pumped through the glomeruli per minute. The kidneys' globuli are microscopic filters that remove waste from the blood.

The Golgi apparatus...
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. stores, modifies, and packages proteins

Explanation:

Golgi apparatus is an organelle that is bounded by a single membrane and it is a part of the endomembrane system. It is made up of 5-8 membrane-bound flattened sac known as cisternae.

Golgi apparatus receives the proteins which are made in the endoplasmic reticulum and it does storage, modification, and packaging of these proteins.

Protein glycosylation, sulfation, phosphorylation are the type of modification that occurs inside the Golgi apparatus. Then these proteins are packaged inside a vesicle and released into the cytoplasm from where they move to their target site. So the right answer is C.

PLEASE HURRY
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

Because proteins from the RER go in the exocytic pathway and they are guided to the Golgi through a signal sequence placed at the N-terminus of the protein. Arrived in the Golgi, the proteins undergo post-translational modifications and are finally secreted by the cell
